Help writing or drafting

If you haven't yet finished your assignment, one of our tutors can sit with you and help you write. If you've already finished and want help getting the best grade you possibly can, one of our tutors will sit with you and suggest improvements.

Sessions will take place at the Altitutor office, which is located on Level 1, 17A Solomon St Adelaide SA 5000

Cancellations

If you can't make it to a session for any reason, simply let us know at least 24 hours before the session. We don't charge any late or cancellation fees if the absence is informed at least 24 hours before the session, or in the case or medical or family emergency.

Bring your task sheet

We can help with the writing process across essays, reports and research assignments. Share your subject, task sheet and draft when you book so we can confirm the right tutor for your assessment.

Our existing English support includes SACE English Literary Studies, English, Essential English and English as an Additional Language.

Cost

Our session cost is $50/hr, which is equivalent to $75 for each 90 minute session. This will be billed while booking your drafting session.

If you cannot afford these fees, we provide subsidies for students in disadvantaged circumstances, so they can study for free or a reduced fee. Click here to find out more and apply.

Our method

Email your draft

In order to maximise our time during the sessions, it would be best that you email your draft, alongside the assignment's task sheet, at least a day beforehand.

Tutor will review it

Before the session, the tutor will review your work and make detailed feedback, ready to discuss with you.

During the session

During the session, the tutor sits with you and reads over your work. Then, they will discuss ways on how to improve the quality of your work. Tutors will make grammatical corrections and discuss ways on how to improve the organisation, fluency, substance and analysis of your writing.

Assignment guides

Our guides take you through each sentence of your assignment, show you what to write, and give example sentences and wording for you to use.

Assignment drafts

Each comprehensive assignment draft includes comments about every sentence which needs to be changed to improve its quality (and hence your grade!). Drafts also come with a checklist of what to add, change and keep from your assignment, so you know exactly what to do.

Assignment exemplars

Each draft comes with an exemplar of a similar assignment, which has itself received an A+ grade when it was submitted.
